Tortie girl. She is the oldest daughter of “Chocodelight.” She had a good
kitten career and went on as an adult to gain 3 CC`s making her a
Champion. She is a large built, well-mingled Chocolate Tortie known as the
non stop-purring machine. An excellent mum, producing large babies. Lizzie
tested Negative for PKD February 2005.

the first Lilac self-male to gain his Gr Ch title in this country. She has
excellent eye colour, type and confirmation. She has also inherited her
fathers’ dense, pink toned coat. She will be a great asset to my Chocolate
and Lilac program in the future and portraying an excellent temperament
she is just “Sheer Bliss” to be around!

On 17th July Bella was granted the TICA
Award of Excellence as
the Second
Best Blue Tortie/White Selkirk Rex of the Year 2006
Bella is a Dilute
Tortie and White Calico Van Shorthaired Selkirk Rex bred by my dear friend
Dee Marsland-Round (Catbalu). With good type, eye colour and an abundance of
short curls, she will take up her show career later in the year. Her sire,
TICA Gr Ch Dahozo Cody
of Catbalu is one of the first USA Imported males to enter the UK in 2003.
Both Bella’s parents are PKD negative tested. These unique and adorable
felines have personality plus. They get on with everyone, other breeds of
felines and are very people orientated, certainly not curtain climbers! The
coat is dense, plush with non-matting curls. They are versatile and hardy,
coming in a range of colours, short and long coated, curly or straight
haired varieties. The straight hairs are known as Variants and have the same
personality and traits as their curly counterparts. The Selkirk is being
outcrossed with Persians, Exotics and British Shorthairs to expand the gene
pool.
Bella has produced a
TICA Ch namely “Catbalu
Indiana” a Red/White Bicolour
shorthaired curly male by Ch Catbalu Morgoth.
